Also give tips about apparels of people who will be at the altar (parents, godparents, bridesmaids and siblings). This will prevent your Mother in law from appearing in a WHITE dress at the wedding ceremony, for example. And stick out well. I've seen this unpleasant scene and it wasn't cool.
